Little Black Worms Shower Floor

We have these tiny little worms in the shower on the ledge under the shampoo bottle.

About 6 mo ago i noted cute little moth like flies in my shower and thought little of them. Recently i discovered small black worms on my shower floor. Their is nothing to pull out of the drains you can see straight through. They are black in color and when i pick up the shampoo they all begin moving.

When these eggs hatch the larvae look like tiny black worms. A few days ago i was cleaning my shower to lift up a bottle of shampoo from the shower floor and found tiny black worms. I have eradicated them and decided to share my experience with this thread. My husband cleans out our drains often.

Out shower is tiled as well and is cracked along the bottom. These disgusting little black not really worms are tough to beat. They are the offspring of the tiny drain fly which you occassionally see on the shower wa. A number of pests and problems can originate in your shower.
